worked in the field on projects related to construction, structural, water resources, and transportation engineering in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, but he was always excited to work in transportation engineering projects. The ultimate reward for me as a transportation engineer is making direct improvements in the lives of other people while facilitating the efficient, safe, and convenient flow for all road users on our transportation network. This passion led him to dive deeper and get an MS and a Ph.D. in civil engineering/transportation engineering and then licensure as a professional engineer (PE) in the same domain.
